Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipesPractice safe food handling and cleanliness at all times
• Accurately input orders into computers, handle money, make change, and process credit card transactions
• Communicate and interact with Guests in a friendly manner
• Communicate with other team members to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Check Guest ID and adhere to responsible service of alcohol policy
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with Bears Restaurant Group
• Wash and sterilize stemware

Physical Requirements:

• Maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time while performing with quality and accuracy.
• Withstand exposure to possible food allergens including but not limited to; meats, fish, nuts, dairy, and oils
• Withstand exposure to and work with cleaning chemicals.
• Lift up to 40lbs constantly.
• Lift from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently.
• Twist, reach, & bend frequently.

Skills/Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:

• A bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A bartender should be organized and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.
• 18 years of age.
• Valid T.I.P.S. Certification (or ability to obtain within first 2 weeks of employment)
• High School degree or equivalent preferred and/or 1 year experience in related industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills; Team player
• Ability to count and perform basic math functions
